Tammy Dekrell

SENIOR ASSOCIATE, FINANCE

Tammy is Senior Associate, Finance at PowerTransitions®, with over 25 years of experience in the utility sector. She specializes in plant accounting, cash receivable restructuring, and operational accounting for generation assets, including fossil, hydro, and gas plants.

Tammy began her utility career at PPL Services Corp in Asset Management/Plant Accounting, later advancing to Senior Generation Business Specialist at PPL Generation LLC. During her tenure, she played a key role in supporting her team through major transitions, including the divestiture of PPL’s Generation business to Talen Energy.

Over the years, she has built strong industry knowledge and practical expertise across multiple utility and accounting functions. Following the acquisition of Camden and Dartmouth, Tammy joined PowerTransitions®, applying her experience to ensure accurate financial processes and support the company’s growth objectives.

Tammy holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Accounting) from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA.
