Ryan Vassil is a Senior Associate on the M&A team at Power Transitions, where he is responsible for asset acquisitions, due diligence, market research, and business development.

Before joining Power Transitions, Ryan was an Associate on the investment team at Panamint Capital for two and a half years. During his time there, he focused on the acquisition, due diligence, financing, and development of both thermal and renewable power plants, as well as operating coal mines. He played a key role in over $100 million of thermal power plant acquisitions, more than $150 million in related financings, and led project finance efforts for over 1.3 GW of solar and storage developments.

Prior to Panamint, Ryan worked as an Associate in the Project Finance group at CohnReznick, where he advised on transactions totaling more than $1.2 billion. Notably, he served as the buy-side advisor on the acquisition of a 1.1 GW operating solar portfolio—the largest solar transaction in the U.S. at that time.

Ryan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Financial Services and Planning from the University of Georgia.
