Eleanor Aparicio

MANAGING DIRECTOR, RENEWABLES / ESS

Eleanor Aparicio is Managing Director, Head of Renewables/ESS for PowerTransitions. She is responsible for leading the development, financing, construction and operations of the renewable energy and storage projects at PowerTransitions' brownfield sites.

Eleanor brings a decade of experience in the renewable energy industry to the PowerTransitions team. Previously, she led commercial finance at Form Energy, an energy storage technology and manufacturing company that is developing and commercializing a pioneering iron-air battery capable of storing electricity for 100 hours at system costs competitive with legacy power plants.

Prior to joining Form, Eleanor worked as an Investment Banking Associate in Lazard’s Power, Energy & Infrastructure Group. Previously, she worked on the Finance & Strategy team at Clean Line Energy Partners, where she maintained the financial models for Clean Line’s interregional HVDC transmission projects and supported all aspects of corporate fundraising, project finance and commercialization efforts. 

Eleanor holds a BA in Art History from Princeton University and an MBA in Analytical Finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Eleanor also served as a Princeton in Asia fellow in Lao P.D.R., where she worked with a local environmental organization.
