Darian King

VICE PRESIDENT, REDEVELOPMENT

Darian King is Vice President of Redevelopment at PowerTransitions®. He is responsible for overseeing business development, site assessment, due diligence, M&A, and renewable development activities.

Darian is a seasoned professional with expertise in environmental mitigation and site remediation. With a deep understanding of market fundamentals, he can identify strategic targets and partnerships in the industry. Before joining PowerTransitions®, Darian was a Senior Associate on the Investment team at Panamint Capital, a KKR portfolio company, where he played a key role in acquiring, commercializing, and managing nearly 3,000 MW of operational fossil and development-stage renewable power plants.

Prior to his tenure at Panamint Capital, Darian was a Senior Analyst at CSG Investments, a subsidiary of Beal Bank. He managed special situations, invested in secondary market debt, originated loans, and hedged interest rate risk. During his time at CSG, he led a team exploring a new investment vertical, negotiated several ISDAs with major banks, and deployed over $500 million in capital.

Darian holds a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and an MS in Finance with High Distinction from The University of Texas at Dallas.
