Energy & Infrastructure Finance Specialist

As an Associate of Investment Analysis at PowerTransitions®, Andres is responsible for building and maintaining complex financial models, conducting market research, and performing due diligence on the acquisition of power generation assets. His work also supports the development of battery storage, data center, gas, and solar assets on brownfield sites.

Andres brings over half a decade of experience in credit, energy, and infrastructure finance to the PowerTransitions® team.

Most recently, he served as a Senior Associate on the Capital Markets team at Swell Energy, where he played a key role in raising over $1.2 billion across loan guarantees, loan warehouses, and ABS securitizations.

Before that, Andres was an Analyst at JP Morgan on the Energy Investment Banking Credit team, where they underwrote and managed a $9.0 billion portfolio spanning Oil & Gas, Project Renewables, and Commodities.

Earlier in his career, he worked as an Investment Analyst at AIG on the Private Credit team, underwriting transactions and managing a $16.0 billion corporate and $13.0 billion infrastructure portfolio.

Andres holds a BBA in Finance with a minor in Accounting from the University of Houston, C.T. Bauer College of Business.
